I understand.  There still might be lots of questions you need answered before working with me and feel safe to part with your money.  Below you will find some of the most asked questions.

There are many health myths in the media and food industry that often leads to confusion.  Do eggs lead to raised cholesterol?  Will dairy give me strong bones?  Are nuts actually good for me?  Are high protein diets a friend or a foe?  Should I avoid certain carbohydrates?  Do supplements help?

Confused?  I bet!  Through working with me, you will be able to start making sense of it all and clear the fog!

Nope! All of my Nutritional Therapy Services are 100% virtual, via video call.

For some people, it can be fast and dramatic.  Cut out certain triggers or restore mineral imbalances and voila, 2-4 weeks later you’re a different person.  So wonderful!  However, as our population gets sicker and the cases more complex, the following is a realistic timeline.

6-12 weeks: The ship starts to turn.  You start to see changes in a positive direction.  Usually also backed up by lab-work.

6 months: We can mostly aim for 50% at 6 months.

12 Months: Achieve your goal, depending on what the goal was.

2 years. Aiming for you to be healthy by this point and hit ‘maintenance’.

The timeline I have outlined here is very general.  Some people get better much more quickly than this, and some more slowly.  We won’t know what to expect from your case and see how your body responds.  We simply won’t know until we start.

This is not an inexpensive undertaking (there might recommended supplements, lab tests and change of food sources) but sometimes a little can go a long way.  

I do try to use your primary care physician and utilise standard medical testing as much as possible, but most of the time this is not a realistic option.  Of course, we can discuss how to stretch your coin, and how to prioritise spending.  

That being said, I also have the expectation that you will prioritise your health in your budget.  If you have to choose between getting healthy and going on a vacation this year, converting your loft or upgrading your car, you might have to this time around choose your health.  Just see it as the most important investment you will ever do during your lifetime!

The effectiveness of Nutritional Therapy is mostly up to yourself.  The more dedicated and consistent you are, the more effective it is.  Please make sure that you are ready to commit to our work together and that you are willing to possibly make some sacrifices to see changes happen.  Nutritional Therapy is a lifetime-commitment and it is important to remember that there is no shortcuts to success.

Don’t fret!  Your Nutritional Plan will include lots of yummy wholefoods and recipes.  I believe in nourishing the body, not starving it through crazy diets, carb-cutting or other silliness!

The idea is that we build the treatment plan after what you like and require and add to it, rather than removing all the fun.  Of course, if you are living off processed foods, and feeling like crap, then you probably will have to make some big adjustments to get the change in your health that you are after, but we will find ways to twine things into your diet that you will still enjoy and devour.
